Les Senteurs
—The Scent Makers Scent

Les, Senteurs (‘the scents’), Londons oldest independent perfumery, has been a family run haven of fragrance tranquillity since 1984. They have become a destination for those in the know, looking for their dream fragrance, with shelves lined with over 350 fragrances created by the best noses in the business they have introduced, and continue to exclusively introduce, niche perfume brands to the UK market.

We worked with the wonderful team at Les Senteurs to design their first own-brand candle collection. The packaging had to sit close to the existing brand but could be an evolution, it had to embody their French heritage and be effortless stylish. 

In our early designs we studied traditional Rococo detailing on everyday objects and took inspiration to create a series of frames - as designs evolved we simplified detail until we had a frame of flowing lines that could also represent scent moving around a space or the curls of smoke created when a candle is lit or extinguished. Outer packaging was kept clean, minimal and elegant in keeping with the style. The initial range launches with six scents with more to follow as well as a fragrance line.
